DMC Power Swage Tools are crafted of the highest quality raw material and components and designed to last through the harshest conditions. In fact, many of our customers are still Swaging with the same exact tools they bought over 15 years ago!
But like any mechanical device, Swage tools must be used according to the operating procedure and needs to be properly maintained, cleaned and care for to ensure years of quality Swage connections. Most of these preventative measures can be done right on the job site in just a few minutes per day. In rare instances unforeseen repairs and factory maintenance may be required. In an effort to minimize any potential downtime on your job-site, DMC Power offers the following factory certified repair and maintenance service programs.
Provides customers with high-quality and reasonably priced maintenance, testing and certification options direct from the factory. See the section below for our different levels of service.
In-Warranty Tool
Send your tool and/or pump to DMC Power before the 1-year warranty expires and we’ll provide the "Good" level care at no additional charge
Out-of-Warranty Tool
Send your out-of-warrant tool and/or pump to DMC Power and we'll perform the desired level of maintenance and advise of any additional replacement parts that may be required (at the customers expense)
When accidents happen, we're here to help with high-quality, certified repair options at a reasonable price
In-Warranty Tool
After inspection, if the tool is deemed to malfunction due to a manufacturer defect, DMC Power will repair the tool free of charge and credit back the customer the two-way shipping cost to and from DMC Power.
If the tool malfunctions due to customer misuse, the customer will be responsible for all maintenance and shipping costs.
Out-of-Warranty Tool
Customer assumes the cost of all repairs and pays two-way shipping to and from DMC Power
Rental Tool
Customer pays one-way shipping back to DMC Power and we will send the next available replacement tool to the customer free of charge
Provides customers a loaner tool to use in the event of an extended maintenance or repair
In-Warranty Tool
Free rental kit will be sent to customer for any repairs over 2 weeks.
Customer pays one way shipping from DMC Power to job site.
Out-of-Warranty Tool
Discounted rental kit pricing available.
Customer pays two way shipping from DMC Power to job site
Rental Tool
Identical replacement tool kit sent to customer upon receipt and inspection of damaged tool.
Customer pays one-way shipping back to DMC Power
If excessive happens to your tool, DMC Power will work with you to determine if its still safe and functional.
Purchased Tools
Tools deemed non-repairable by DMC Power quality assurance due to misuse, abuse or lack of maintenance will be returned to the buyer and no credit will be issued.
Customer is not eligible for discounted rental if excessive damage is found
Rental Tool
Tools deemed non-repairable by DMC Power quality assurance due to misuse, abuse or lack of maintenance will NOT be returned to the buyer and no replacement tool will be sent.
Customer will forfeit their security deposit and be billed for the repairs and/or replacement if excessive damage is found

- Inspection for cracks, galling and damage to tool surfaces
- Check that all markings and labels are legible
- Inspect and replace Teflon tape
- Disassembly, cleaning and lubrication of all Head Assembly Components
- Inspection & cleaning of Power Unit cylinder, swivel & coupler
- Swage test/calibration
HYDRAULIC PUMP
- Inspection of pump, couplers, cord, hoses and switch
- Clean pump exterior
- Install new pressure gauge

Pricing for repairs and upgrades will be based on an hourly labor rate, plus materials. DMC Power will provide a written quote and will not proceed with repairs or modifications without your prior approval.
